At Sea
I will soon be at sea working as a tourist counselor onboard the Costa Voyager. For the next five months I will be touring the Med, welcome the guests onboard and taking care of their free time during their trip. I underwent several courses and faced a lot of bureaucracy but I can happily claim that I now have a job. A real Job with a real income, as modest as this last may be.
I haven’t been posting much lately due to my planning and preparation for the embarkment, which is by all means a very important event for my life so far.
I will be posting pictures and thoughts about my journey whenever possible and I will share my experience with you all, an experience which will surely allow me to grow and develop much more self awareness and maturity than now.
I have no clue about my future, all I can do is to enjoy the present moment. A lovely present, I must say.
Cheers, everybody :-)

wabi sabi - represents a comprehensive Japanese world view or aesthetic centered around the acceptance of transience. the aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.” it is a concept derived from the Buddhist teaching of the three marks of existence, specifically impermanence, the other two being suffering and emptiness or absence of self-nature.
